Meet the Superintendent
Mr. Dennis Blauser
Mr. Dennis Blauser

Welcome back to another exciting school year. It has been my pleasure to serve the families of the Oracle School District for the past sixteen years. I am proud that my own children attended our district and thanks to our hard working and innovative staff they could not have had a better educational experience. We believe in small town roots and global expectations and I can assure you that our Governing Board does an outstanding job ensuring our resources are used to create the very best possible learning environment for the children of our district. Our facilities look better than ever and we believe there is no limit to what our small but mighty district can accomplish.

I would like to take this opportunity to highlight our dedication to the children of our district by outlining the emphasis we have placed on early childhood literacy. We have committed ourselves to this cause because reading is the foundation for all learning. Our literacy push has included the implementation of a new reading curriculum, a reading intervention program and fun family events that promote literacy such as our family reading nights and book giveaways. The earlier students begin learning to read the better. From day one, a child’s brain begins forming connections very quickly—connections which build the foundation for all learning he or she will do later in life. In fact 90% of children's critical brain development occurs by age 5. Children who are read to, sung to, and talked to from a young age develop bigger vocabularies, become better readers, and are more likely to succeed in school.

Thanks to our dedicated volunteers that run the Oracle Schools Foundation, last year for the first time ever in our district we were able to offer tuition free preschool and thankfully we are able to do this once again this year! We are hopeful that by making preschool more accessible to children we can make even more progress in early childhood literacy. Preschool fills up fast so we encourage parents to register for our three and four year old programs as soon as possible. I am thankful every day for the support we receive from the great people that live in our school district. We are fortunate to have a wealth of skilled volunteers that work with our young readers, in our labs, classrooms and even with our physical education department. This service to our children is appreciated by all of us.

Thank you,

Dennis Blauser
